The complete program of the 2nd edition Kaw River Roots Festival has been made public. Legendary artists Leftover Salmon and Grammy award winners The Infamous Stringdusters will headline. Other performers include Fireside Collective, Kyle Tuttle’s All Stars, The Jon Stickley Trio, Daniel Donato, Opal Agafia, Chain Station, Pretend Friend, Sky Smeed, Lily B Moonflower, The Matchsellers, Jake Keegan Band, Tyler Gregory, Jenna & Martin, and Megan Lutrell.

The Kaw River Roots Festival returns to Lawrence August 26-27, 2022. The two-day festival is a celebration of roots, bluegrass and Americana music along the Kansas River shore at historic Abe & Jake’s Landing. The festival features multiple stages (indoors and outdoors), amazing food and drink, local vendors, and convenient hotel rooms adjacent to the venue. For those looking to make the most of a weekend full of live roots and American music – the Friday/Saturday festival is followed by the Kansas State Fiddle and Picking Championships taking place in South Park Sunday afternoon.
