Spider-Man Madame Web Spinoff Starring Dakota Johnson Delayed

Spider Man spin off Madame Web had its release date pushed back a few months.

Starring Dakota Johnson in the lead role, the Sony and Marvel film has been moved to a October 6, 2023 release date – three months after the previously announced slot, set for July (via Variety).

Insidious 5marking Patrick Wilson’s directorial debut, will take Madame Web‘s original date and will hit theaters next summer on July 7, 2023.

Fans will have to wait a bit longer to see Johnson play Madame Web, as her version is different from the comic book character.

In her Marvel Comics line, Madame Web is an elderly woman suffering from a neuromuscular condition known as myasthenia gravis. To survive, she is hooked up to a cobweb-like life support system, hence her name.

Sony’s next film is expected to take a different route, though the protagonist must, of course, retain at least some of her psychic abilities, including telepathy, clairvoyance, prescience, sensing psionic abilities in others, and projection. astral.
